Construction Paintings

Built rather than simply painted, the works combine layers of plaster, wood, pigment, paint and other raw materials. Across different series and individual pieces, each work develops through an intuitive process of construction, balance and transformation.

Together, they form a constantly evolving body of work in which material, colour and space remain at the core.
